We have
been working with the Souris River for 2 yrs with specific
guidance from Creator. When we knew the 19 + 1 Grand Tetons
Ceremony was happening, 3 other people brought their hearts
forward March 1st. By choice, all of us have been doing
deep self-growth in preparation. Another couple were added
3 weeks ago.
The 7 of
us arrived May 8th at the sacred space of the pre-prepared
wheel. I guided them through joining heart to heart with
Mother Earth in the middle. Aarion smudged us all, and afterwards
I sang before I put the 6-pointed crystal into the river
(in direct line with the Wheel). Lots of love and intention
has gone into that powerful crystal. Aarion showed us how
to use the tobacco to honor the wheel/world. Then with drumming,
each direction on the wheel had a speaker who spoke their
heart and purpose.
After, we
stepped inside the wheel, and honored all 6 directions,
and sang a prayer of love, intent, and honor. All of us
entered from the East and formed an inner circle within
the wheel, and holding hands, sang to add the powerful energy
we 'gathered' to that energy that came from another part
of the wheel, and all of this loving, healing energy spun
out over the river and beyond. We were in awe at what happened,
and lots of sacred heart tears all through the ceremony.
It is amazing at what people can do with a focus. Thank
you, Bennie, for putting forth your vision. 5 of us saw
your tape and truly understand. There were more people than
you can ever know that added their hearts to your magnificent
purpose, and continue to add to it, even after the Ceremony.
We would
welcome any feedback from your area, or from any of the
other sites. It became a world-event to add balance and
harmony to Earth and all life upon Her. It's wonderful to
see how much people really care.
What
was planned for May 8th, 2004:
My name is ********* of the
Annishnabe Chippewa People. My wife **** and I live in Brandon,
Manitobia and will be doing ceremony on the Souris River
which is just South of Brandon. A week ago, another native
brother and I created a wheel on the sacred site we had
chosen. Three silver Hawks were flying above us at the time.
My wife has the Quartz Crystal which she has been told to
place in the River. At this time, there is a small group
of us who will be there to activate the wheel and do honoring
ceremony. All, of like hearts, wishing to join us, my contact
me for further information. We are one.
We are gathering at
11:00 A.M. to start ceremony at 12:00
Directions:
The location in on Hwy 2 near Wawanessa where the Souris
River Crosses.
Follow Hwy 10 South from Brandon, turn
East on no. 2., about a mile and a half before you get to
the main Wawanessa turnoff, you go into the dip where the
bridge crosses the Souris river. (Twin lane passing area)
this area on the north of the bridge is an actual Prov.
Park area. The ceremony will be at this park alongside the
River.
Directions from Winnipeg,
Manitoba are to drive west on Hwy 2 and the park is a mile
and a half after the turn-off to Wawanessa.
Up at the bend of the river
in the park is where the Sacred Wheel has been established
