The lake itself is dry most of the year, the area in the pictures on the south side looks like its been dry for some time. Its mostly rangeland. Model rocket clubs use it as a rocket range. Near the lake are a number of sites where Rib Stones have been reported. Does this place deserve designation as a sacred site, some think so, so its listed here.
