This medicine wheel is one of the most inaccessible sites, being in an area of open range land and well away from established population centers. While the site can be reached with a normal automobile, a sturdier vehicle is recommended for those who are less adventurous. Also private and lease land must be crossed, and permission to access the site must be obtained before venturing out there.

A quick search of the web will reveal that there is much written about this site. Its credited by some as being an ancient sun temple as old as Stonehenge. More will be added in the future to tell the story of this site.

The central cairn is only a small part of a complex of sites. When visiting one should prepare to bring sacred offerings of cloth, tobacco or sweet grass. We do not advise the use of smudging on iste as it is very dry. The site is itself very pure. We reccomend that a cleansing ceremony be performed on your party and the vehicles being used to visit the site before leaving. This would ensure that everyone will arrive with the purest of intent.
