I visited the site in the Summer of 2004. We obtained directions from the Interpetive centre in the village of Herschel. They provide a guided/interpretive tour of the site during the normal hours of operation. The site is very ancient, the intent of the stone is to teach the people about the nature of the unverse, the cosmos and the secrets of life. Over time the rock has become buried in the earth, at one time it was all exposed.
