| This effigy is on a hill top near a dry lake about 9 miles south of Gladmar. It is on private land so permission is needed to visit the site. The land owner lives on a nearby farm. Its not on the highest hill that is next to it. It is in the middle of a pasture and the gates must be closed when entering and leaving.
We feel this effigy is only one of many that are/were on the hill and the effigy is really that of a woman not a man. She/He points to a circle of stones that is really a labyrinth. Some might think it is a traditional native hoop. There is energy in the middle of this hoop. As such, the figure directs the visitor to enter a sacred circle of stones. Also, on the side of the hill there
are traces of effigies of at least one eagle. This site is not open
to the public and arrangements with the landowner that lives nearby
must be arranged before visiting this site
We visited the site in 2006 when it was very dry. Once we were through the gate we were able to drive up to the effigy with our vehicle escorted by the landowner.
